1. Acceptance

By using Kerygma, you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please uninstall the application.

2. Service Description

Kerygma is a Catholic Bible reading application (73 books, Louis Segond translation). It offers:

  • Offline reading
  • Bookmarks and personal annotations
  • AI-powered comprehension features (Lumière plan)

3. Lumière Plan (subscription)

  • The subscription gives access to AI features (explanations, summaries, verse comparisons)
  • Payment is managed by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current period
  • No refunds are granted for a partially used period, except as required by law

4. Intellectual Property

  • The Louis Segond 1910 translation is in the public domain
  • The interface, icons, the name «Kerygma» and AI features are the property of the publisher
  • You may not reproduce, sell or redistribute the application or its content without written permission

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to decompile or reverse-engineer the application
  • Use AI features to generate misleading or harmful content
  • Circumvent subscription verification mechanisms

6. Availability

Kerygma is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service, particularly for features requiring a connection (AI, synchronization).

7. Limitation of Liability

The publisher cannot be held liable for a service interruption, loss of local data, or an interpretation of biblical content provided by the AI.

8. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the law applicable in the publisher’s country of residence.
