1. Data Collection

Kerygma is designed to work offline as much as possible. Here's what the app collects:

Data stored locally (on your device only)

  • Reading preferences (theme, language, text size)
  • Bookmarks and personal annotations
  • Reading progress and history
  • Onboarding profile (name, age range, belief)
  • Daily reading statistics (streak)

Data shared with third parties

  • RevenueCat: anonymous subscription identifier to manage the Lumi\u00e8re plan. RevenueCat Policy
  • AI Backend (Lumi\u00e8re features only): the selected verse text is sent to generate an explanation or summary. No text is retained.

2. What We Don’t Collect

  • No user account, no email, no password
  • No advertising identifier
  • No location data
  • No behavioral analytics

3. Subscription (Lumière Plan)

In-app purchases are processed by the App Store / Google Play via RevenueCat. Kerygma never accesses your payment information.

4. Minors

The app does not knowingly collect personal data from people under 13 years old.

5. Changes

Any significant update to this policy will be noted in the app’s release notes.
